Hello, Buddy!
A recent report says well-being among managers is dangerously low.
Apparently, managers are feeling the squeeze and stress of being sandwiched between the needs of their teams and the demands of senior leaders.
So really, how are you?

Will you achieve your Q3 goals?
No, it’s not too early to ask because before you know it, you'll be back to defending your team in the court of KPIs.
So, I ask again… “Will YOU achieve your Q3 goal?” Or should I just mind my business?
I found this really solid Q3 game plan that could be super helpful.
But before I get to that.. how are you ensuring that everyone in your team performs at their optimal level?
Does everyone in your team know what the company is trying to achieve this quarter? Do they know how their daily task contribute to achieving that goal? Are you sure you can randomly ask anyone in your team and they will readily answer?
If your answers to those questions are not Yes, Yes, & Yes then you can already see the problem.
Sometimes, the difference between hitting your goals and missing them is in the little things.
Something as simple as clarity.
What was Q2 like for your team though?

MY LEADERSHIP STORY
The not-so-cool part of being a team lead
I’d say the worst parts about being a team leader is finding the balancing between driving performance and providing support to your team when they are facing challenges outside of work.
You are leading a team of people who all have lives outside of work, and it is impossible to think that everyone can show up to work and turn those outside stressors off, explains Marissa.
Finding the balance between making sure your team feels supported and is allowed the time they need while also maintaining metrics is extremely stressful.
